Committee Members
Our committee comes from a variety of backgrounds and age groups, but we all have something different to bring to the table. We put countless hours in throughout the year to bring you the best Pride festival Fort Wayne has to offer. Here’s a little more info about each of our members:
Nikki Berger-Fultz- Director
This is my 9th Pride festival to put together. Each year I have been so amazed at how far we’ve come. Looking back to the first festival I attended in 1999, I am blown away at where we are. Pride is such an important part of my life, not only because I have spent thousands of hours on it, but because I feel like I am making a difference in the lives of so many people, gay and straight. I have been blessed with the opportunity of meeting so many awesome people because of Pride. As far as my personal life, I am 27 and teach 5th grade for FWCS and live with my wife and our dog on the north side of Fort Wayne. I enjoy spending time with an amazing group of friends. I want to thank every one of you for supporting Pride, see you at Pride ‘09!
Chad Pratt
This is Chad’s 7th year on the committee. He currently works in the healthcare field. He has been in charge of the Miss/ Mr Pride Pageants and our drag shows since he began on the committee. Chad is looking forward to making Pride even more fun and bigger than last year.
Devin Knight
26 yrs old. I am originally from Oxford, MA, go Boston Red Sox!! I've served on the committee for 4 years now and love every minute of it. I also organize the annual Pride Idol competition. I enjoy being an active member of Ft. Wayne's gay community and I am proud to contribute to the festival every year. I have been active in sexual minority youth groups, as well as activism groups since I was sixteen. I will be attending college at IPFW this fall, major undecided. I love riding my motorcycle to clear my mind. I dont believe that gender is black and white. Boy bands and punk music rock my world. I'm amazed at how far the pride festival has grown over the past few years and I can't wait to see how we will continue to grow. quote: 'Your silence will not protect you.' Audre Lorde

This is my 4th year with pride. In the past I have volunteered with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity & Youth For Christ. Each year seems to fly by and get more exciting. It is great to see the number of people that come out and are involved and the festival get bigger each year. This year I will be the volunteer co-coordinator with Kenny. We are excited to hear from anyone that is interested in helping out. My partner and I live in Fort Wayne with our dog Ty. I look forward to seeing you all in July!
Kenny Edholm & Josh Reid
Josh and Kenny have been together for three years now. They are hard working people, who dedicate their lives to their friends and family. Josh is studying to be a paramedic and Kenny works at a cell phone collections department. They both like the outdoors and spending time together, if you ask one about the other it is nothing but loving complements. They both balance each other out quite nicely, Josh who tends towards quiet with a secret party bug wanting to be out and about with Kenny by his side and Kenny who is extrovert and out going who would rather spend a night in with the love of his life.

27, I am one of those friends you wish you could have. I am always there for you when you need some one to talk to. Rather it be for advice or just someone to spill everything to. I have been on the Pride Committee 3yrs now and will be in charge of Security this year. Before I become part of the committee, I have been there helping out with our pride event since 2001 as a volunteer. My goal in being a Pride committee member is to help pride grow in size as well as to help make it more enjoyable and open for everyone.
